Apple Waffles

Apple waffles need just egg, quince apple and wheat flour for a quick, fibre-rich snack that's lightly sweet and soft. They're an easy self-feeding option for babies from around 8 months and great for on-the-go. Cook until set, then cool and cut into strips for little hands.

Ingredients

  • Egg (Grade C1)1 pc
  • Quince apple (small)1 pc
  • Wheat flour2 tbsp

Instructions

    Grate the apple using a coarse grater and mix with the remaining ingredients.

    Bake in a waffle iron for 7-8 minutes. You can also bake them as fritters in a dry frying pan.
