Chicken hearts with buckwheat is a deeply nourishing, iron-rich dish that pairs tender organ meat with wholesome grains, carrot and onion. Organ meats are nutritional powerhouses for growing babies. Suitable from around 8 months — simmer until very tender and chop finely to a safe texture.

Ingredients

  • Chicken hearts150 g
  • Buckwheat50 g
  • Carrot1 pc
  • Oil1 tbsp
  • Water350 ml

Instructions

    Place the chicken hearts in a blender after cleaning them of blood and fat.

    Add onion, carrot, and tomato to the hearts and blend everything thoroughly.

    Place the mixture into a pot, add the rinsed buckwheat, stir, and pour in the water.

    Simmer for 20 minutes until cooked through.

    Add a little oil to taste at the end.
