Fish Soup

Pollock, Potato, Onion, Lentils, Carrot, Oil

A nourishing fish soup with mild pollock, carrot, lentils and potato — rich in protein and fibre yet easy to digest. The lentils add gentle plant protein and iron. A warming, balanced bowl for young children from around 8 months. Simmer until soft and serve warm at a safe temperature.

Ingredients

  • Pollock fillet50 g
  • Carrot20 g
  • Lentils1 tbsp
  • Sunflower oil1 tbsp
  • Potato (medium)1 piece

Instructions

    Rinse the fish, remove any bones, and place it in a pot of water.

    Add all remaining ingredients and boil until tender for 15-20 minutes. For toddlers over one year old, add salt to taste. *Lentils can be replaced with rice or couscous in the same amount. Pollock can also be replaced with another type of fish.
