Lazy apple and cottage cheese pancakes fold grated apple into a protein-rich curd batter for soft, naturally sweet bites. They're a comforting breakfast for toddlers from around 12 months and quick to whip up. Pan-cook gently until set and golden, then cool and cut into strips for self-feeding.

Ingredients

  • Apple (peeled)120 g
  • Eggs2 pcs
  • Cottage cheese (tvorog)60 g
  • Flour80 g
  • Baking soda1/2 tsp
  • Butter40 g
  • Salt and sweetener to tasteto taste

Instructions

    Peel and grate the apple using a fine grater.

    Add the remaining ingredients to the apple. You can melt the butter, but it is better to grate it finely as well.

    Mix everything thoroughly and place 1 tablespoon of batter per pancake onto a well-heated skillet.

    Turn the heat to LOW and bake covered for 3-4 minutes on each side.
