Lazy Cabbage Rolls

These lazy cabbage rolls skip the wrapping: chicken, carrot, onion, broccoli or cauliflower and rice flakes are simply combined and cooked into tender, savoury bites. Packed with vegetables and protein, they're great for batch-cooking and freezing. A wholesome option from around 8 months — cook until fully done.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thigh fillet3 pcs
  • Carrot (small)1 pc
  • Onion1 pc
  • Broccoli and cauliflower (you can use just one type)4 florets
  • Rice flakes (or rice)20 g

Instructions

    Place all ingredients into a blender and blend.

    Form into small patties.

    Freeze until completely solid. Cooking after thawing: Steam for 30 minutes. You can use a steamer or a pan by adding a little water to the bottom.

    Note: You don't have to thaw them before cooking. Can be stored for up to 180 days.
