These little dumplings feature a vibrant beetroot-tinted dough wrapped around a soft curd-and-cheese filling — a fun, balanced mix of dairy and gentle carbohydrates for toddlers from around 10 months. Boil until the dough is tender, then cool slightly and cut into safe, manageable pieces.

  • Flour (for dough)230 g
  • Milk (for dough)75 ml
  • Egg (for dough)1 pc
  • Beetroot juice (for dough)10 g
  • Salt (for dough)to taste
  • Curd cheese 5% (for filling)100 g
  • Egg yolk (for filling)1 pc
  • Cheese (for filling)40 g
  • Salt (for filling)to taste

Instructions

    Prepare the dough as shown in the video; adding beetroot juice is optional.

    Prepare the filling by combining the curd cheese, cheese, and egg yolk.

    Shape small dumplings. You can freeze some for later or cook them immediately. Boil like regular dumplings. Add salt for children only after one year of age.
