Mini Manti

Flour, Spinach, Egg, Water, Meat, Pumpkin, Onion

Mini manti are little steamed dumplings filling tender meat and pumpkin inside a vibrant spinach dough — a fun, balanced meal of protein and vegetables for babies from around 8 months. Steam until the dough is tender and the filling cooked through, then cool slightly and cut to a safe size.

Ingredients

  • For the dough:-
  • Whole wheat flour (or regular)150-200 g
  • Large egg (C0)1 pc
  • Spinach30 g
  • Boiling water50 ml
  • For the filling:-
  • Meat (I used thigh fillet)200 g
  • Pumpkin (can be replaced with zucchini)60 g
  • Onion50 g
  • Salt (after 1 year) and spicesTo taste

Instructions

  1. 1

For the dough: place spinach and egg in a blender and blend well.

  2. 2

Pour boiling water and the spinach-egg mixture into the flour and knead the dough. Flour absorption varies, so add more if the dough is too wet.

  3. 3

While the dough rests, prepare the filling. For the filling: place raw pumpkin, onion, and meat in a blender. Blend well.

  4. 4

Roll out the dough into a sheet 3-5 mm thick and use a glass to cut circles. Form small manti. Steam a portion for 30 minutes.

  5. 5

Freeze the second portion and cook as needed for 40 minutes.
