This clever pizza swaps traditional dough for a pumpkin-and-egg base topped with tomato, spinach and cheese — a healthy, quick alternative toddlers love from around 10 months. It sneaks vegetables into a familiar favourite. Bake until set and golden, then cool and cut into easy-to-hold slices.

Ingredients

  • For the dough: Pumpkin150 g
  • Wheat flour3 tbsp with a heap
  • Egg2 pcs
  • For the topping: Tomato40 g
  • Herbs (e.g., spinach)10 g
  • Cheese40 g

Instructions

    Finely grate the pumpkin, then add flour and eggs. Stir well. 🧂 Add salt to taste for children over one year old.

    Heat a frying pan well and turn to low heat. Pour the dough into the pan and spread it out evenly.

    Cover with a lid and cook for 1-2 minutes.

    Flip the pizza base using a plate or a wide spatula.

    Add the toppings on top. You can use any toppings you like.

    Cover with a lid and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
