A quick charlotte made with apple, sour cream, rice flour and egg — a soft, lightly sweet baked sponge that comes together fast. The apple adds natural sweetness and fibre, making it a fun treat for toddlers from around 12 months. Bake until set, then cool and cut into soft pieces.

Ingredients

  • Apple220 g
  • Sour cream (any fat content)20 g
  • Rice flour20 g
  • Egg2
  • Baking powder1/2 tsp

Instructions

    1. Dice the apple, sprinkle with sweetener, and microwave for 1.5 minutes.

    2. Take out the apples and add the remaining ingredients to them.

    3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and bake in the oven at 180°C for 15 minutes. *You can also bake it in a small skillet: pour the mixture onto a well-heated pan, let it set, then flip. Bake for 10 minutes covered on low heat. ♨️ Air fryer: 10 minutes at 180°C.
