Quick Lunch
Buckwheat, meat, green beans, paprika, water, oil
A quick lunch of tender meat with green beans and buckwheat — iron-rich, naturally gluten-free and balanced with protein, complex carbohydrates and fibre. It comes together fast for busy days and suits babies from around 8 months. Cook until soft, then serve warm at a safe temperature.
Ingredients
- Meat of your choice150 g
- Green beans100 g
- Buckwheat85 g
- Ghee (optional)1 tsp
- Paprika (optional)1/2 tsp
- Hot water200 ml
Instructions

Place the meat and green beans in a blender and pulse until they reach a medium-sized consistency.

Add ghee to a pan (if unavailable, place the meat and beans in a dry pan and add your preferred cooking oil at the end).

Sauté the meat and beans for 3-4 minutes and add paprika (optional).

Rinse the buckwheat and add it to the meat and beans. Pour in the hot water. Turn the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 10-12 minutes until all the water has evaporated.

For children over one year, add salt to taste.
