Quick Soup

Chicken mince, carrot, onion, couscous

Quick Soup

A clever meal-prep soup: freeze pre-formed chicken meatballs so you can drop them straight into simmering carrots, onion and couscous for a quick, fresh bowl any day. It delivers protein, vegetables and gentle grains in minutes. Suitable from around 8 months — simmer until the meatballs are cooked through.

Ingredients

  • Chicken mince50 g
  • (form into meatballs and place in the freezer until fully solid) Carrots150 g
  • Onion100 g
  • Couscous30 g

Instructions

  1. 1

Dice the onion into small cubes.

  2. 2

Grate the carrot using a fine grater. Add the frozen meatballs and couscous to them. Mix everything together and portion into bags (3 bags of 100g each). It's very easy and simple to prepare: just take out one bag, drop it into boiling water, and cook until done.

  3. 3

⏰ Store in the freezer for no more than 60 days (due to the onion), as it may develop a specific odor if stored longer. If frozen without onion and added fresh during cooking, it can be stored for up to 180 days.
