Secret Liver

Secret liver is a simple make-ahead of gently cooked, blended chicken liver — a true superfood packed with iron and vitamin A that you can stir into pasta, porridge or patties. It's an easy way to add liver's nutrition for babies from around 8 months. Cook through, blend smooth, and portion to freeze.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver500 g
- Water700 ml
Instructions

Rinse the raw liver thoroughly and trim away any excess fat or connective tissue.

Boil in boiling water for 10 minutes.

Place into a blender with a small amount of the cooking broth or just boiling water (about 2-3 tablespoons) and blend until smooth.

Portion into molds and place in the freezer.

Before using, defrost in the refrigerator overnight.

Add to various dishes the child likes (meatballs, pasta, etc.). The recipe in the 'Lunch/Dinner' section is called 'Spaghetti with secret liver'🙌🏻.
