Syrniki (Cheese Pancakes)

These syrniki — soft cheese pancakes — combine curd with banana, egg yolk and rice flour for a naturally sweet, protein-rich breakfast. Tender and lightly golden, they're a long-time favourite that babies enjoy from around 8 months. Pan-cook gently until set and serve warm, cut into strips for little hands.

Ingredients

  • Curd100 g
  • Banana1/2 piece
  • Egg yolk1 piece
  • Rice flour2 tbsp heaped

Instructions

    Mash the banana and curd until smooth.

    Add the flour and mix in the egg yolk.

    Form the cheese pancakes with damp hands and place them in the freezer. ❄️ Preparation after defrosting: You can cook the pancakes in a dry pan or with ghee over low heat until done. Alternatively, you can bake them in the oven for 15 minutes at 180°C. ⏰ Store for no more than 180 days.
