Tender Patties

Chicken fillet, Rice, Cauliflower, Onion, Carrot, Water, Oil

Tender patties blend chicken with cauliflower, rice, carrot and onion into soft, balanced bites rich in protein and vegetables. They're a wholesome finger food for babies from around 8 months and great for batch-cooking. Steam or pan-cook until cooked through, then cool and serve cut to a safe size.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet100 g
  • Cauliflower100 g
  • Rice (dry)30 g
  • Onion30 g
  • Carrot50 g
  • Water200 ml
  • Oil (any)1 tsp

Instructions

    Boil the rice for just 5 minutes.

    Place the chicken fillet and cauliflower in a blender and process until smooth.

    Mix the rice with the blended mixture.

    Form small patties and place them on a well-heated, dry frying pan. Sear for 2 minutes on each side.

    Add finely chopped onion and carrot.

    Pour in the water and add the oil.

    Simmer for 20 minutes over medium heat.
