Wheat Porridge
Chicken or turkey mince, wheat grits, oil, carrot, onion
A comforting wheat porridge cooked with chicken or turkey mince, carrot and onion — a savoury, filling grain dish that delivers protein and gentle carbohydrates. It's an easy one-pot meal for babies from around 8 months. Simmer until the grits are soft and the meat cooked through, then serve warm.
Ingredients
- Chicken or turkey mince100 g
- Carrot50 g
- Onion1/4 pc
- Wheat grits80 g
- Any oil1 tbsp
- Boiling water1 l
Instructions

Add oil to a pot or pan.

Finely chop the onion, grate the carrot on a coarse grater, and add them to the pot.

Sauté slightly over low heat and add the wheat grits.

Pour in the water and cook until the water has completely evaporated.
